We are thrilled to invite you to the Operation Angel Wing Annual Event on August 2nd, 2025, at the Museum of Appalachia located at 2819 Andersonville Hwy, Clinton TN. Our co-host and collaborative partner, Carry the Load, will be there with us along with ITSO Fine Art, Team Unbroken, and a host of amazing vendors.
Before the main event starts at 12:00, we will host a prayer walk/ruck march from Norris Dam to the Museum. The walk is approximately 6 miles long through the beautiful east TN countryside, and there will be a bus following to assist anyone who needs to complete the journey on wheels. We will carry the American Flag across Norris Dam, along the Clinch River, and arrive at the Museum of Appalachia by noon, ready to begin the event.
Lunch will be provided as will live entertainment from “The School of Rock”, a Knoxville TN-based school of music for youth. We will honor our God, our Country, our Veterans and our First Responders and their families in this community-based event and would love to see you there! This is a powerful opportunity to unite Veteran and Public Safety wellness with youth wellness, create lasting connections, and celebrate our communities future and those who keep us safe!
Six electric guitars will be given away to local youth in at-risk communities. These instruments were donated to the Operation Angel Wing Youth Coalition-Healing Chords Program by the Gary Sinise Foundation.
A spaghetti lunch will be donated by Indian Ridge EZ Mart and Farmer’s Deli, an organization that supports local farmers and Veterans.
Come join us and celebrate our youth and our community protectors and their families in this faith-based, patriotic event!
